Finding Strength through Fibroids with Simone Shepherd

Writer/Creator, Simone Shepherd speaks on her journey with fibroids and how she's learned to create a support system through speaking out and opening up about what she has experienced.

In this episode, we talk about the importance of researching and advocating for yourself; not settling for the first opinion from a doctor that may not have your best interest. We also talk about finding support from family, friends, social media and your partner; especially with a condition like fibroids that can interfere with your desire for intimacy and closeness.
